Largest Artificial Christmas Tree
Grupo Sonae Distribuição Brasil created the world's highest artificial Christmas tree and displayed in Moinhos de Vento Park, Porto Alegre, Brazil from 1 December 2001 until 6 January 2002. The 'Peace Tree' measured 52m (170.6 ft)and was covered in green PVC artificial foliage.

Largest Attendance at a Stadium
The Brazil v. Uruguay football match was attended by a crowd of 199,854 , in the Maracanã Municipal Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 16 July 1950.

Largest Mass Parachute Jump (peacetime)
588 Military and civilian parachutists representing five nations parachuted from seven aircraft flying at 3,660 m. (12,000 ft.) over the Santa Cruz Air Base, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on April 18, 2000.

Longest Rideable Surfboard
Ricardo Fontes De Souza of Brazil rode a surfing board of 8.05 m (26 ft 4.93 inch) at Macumba Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 17 November 2006. This holds teh record for the longest surfing board rode by any person till date.

Most Consecutive Donuts (spins) in a Car
Alberto Aires, aka Zé Loquinho (Brazil) achieved the record for the most consecutive donuts in a car on a Chevette 78 at the Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba, Curitiba, Brazil, on 24 February 2006. He did 82 onsecutive donuts( spins).

Oldest Football Player
Football and Brazil is synonymous so it is no wonder that the oldest regular football player is from Brazil. Tércio Mariano de Rezende (Brazil, b. 31 December 1921) is currently the world's oldest regular football player. He regularly plays in the regional Championship as right wing for Goiandira Esporte Clube in Goiandira, Goiás, Brazil.

Douglas Maistre Breger da Silva (b. 21 September 1969) and Claudia Pereira Rocha (b. 6 Septermber 1972) (both Brazil) when married on the 27 October 1998, in Curitiba, Brazil, measured 90cm (35 in) and 93cm (36 in) respectively.
